Established in 1989, the Ontario East Municipal Conference (OEMC) has developed into the largest annual regional municipal conference east of Toronto. Since 1993 the Ontario East Economic Development Commission and the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing have partnered together to deliver dynamic programs that engage municipalities within Eastern Ontario to build strong community partnerships leading to enhanced economic opportunities and success. Each year our 500+ delegates comprise a diverse group of elected officials, economic development professionals, entrepreneurs, municipal employees and service providers, private sector business leaders and provincial ministry representatives.
