A Master’s graduate of the University of Waterloo’s Economic Development Master’s program, Connor posses a strong knowledge base for practicing economic development in Ontario. Since relocating to Eastern Ontario over three years ago to work for the Town of Perth, he has succeeded in bringing new ideas and positive outcomes to his community. Through partnerships with companies, outreach with businesses, and collaboration with stakeholders, he has been able to deliver innovation and results to his wonderful community in Eastern Ontario. He is a tireless promoter of the opportunity one can find not only in Perth, but in Eastern Ontario as a whole. He has a personal passion for community development, and strongly believes that small towns like Perth can serve as examples for the success active transportation, sustainable development, and denser living can have across the region. To him, Eastern Ontario is a region that knows how to work together and collaborate on initiatives that benefit the entire region. A region full of wonderful people, amazing stories, and incredible communities that he has enjoyed getting to know. Outside the office, you can find him hiking on a trail, paddling on a lake, or exploring a new Eastern Ontario culinary experience.
