Ontario East is pleased to announce that Events & Management Plus Inc. (EM+) will assume administrative responsibilities for the Ontario East Economic Development Commission upon the retirement of program administrator, Lucy Medeiros at the end of July.
“Lucy has contributed to the success of Ontario East for over 10 years, and she will be missed by all of our members with whom she made many friendships and positive relationships supporting economic development in the region” says Jay Amer, Executive Director. “We had to hire an entire team to ensure that the standard Lucy has set will be maintained!”
EM+ has successfully delivered the Ontario East Municipal Conference for over a decade and the expanded relationship is a natural extension of the relationship with Ontario East.
EM+ is a professional association management firm with over 35 years experience based in Kingston and has assigned Megan Howes and Erica Lattimore to provide services for Ontario East.
Lucy and EM+ initiated a plan that began June 1 to ensure a seamless transition to the new model.
We thank Lucy and wish her all the best in her well deserved retirement, she will be missed.
