The Renfrew County Community Futures Development Corporation (RCCFDC) is focused on creating opportunities for entrepreneurs and pursuing economic growth in Renfrew County. We, along with 60 other similar organizations in rural Ontario, receive operational funding from the Government of Canada through FedDev or FedNor Ontario. Our approach is simple- we take a grass-roots approach to create local solutions and invest in local entrepreneurs and community initiatives that fit the challenges of our local economy. Our current Executive Director will be retiring shortly and we are recruiting our next visionary leader to step into this role. This is a full-time position.
The Executive Director will build on the organization's legacy and continue to achieve significant growth in our business community. We are looking for someone who will help us define and deliver a new set of footprints for our organization, our entrepreneurs and our communities. We are recruiting someone with strong leadership, strategy, business acumen, community development experience and engagement skills.

As our new Executive Director, you will lead, inspire, enable and empower the organization to face the evolving challenges confronting our current businesses and entrepreneurs.

- Advanced degree in finance or business
- An entrepreneurial mindset
- A minimum of five years of senior leadership experience
- Demonstrated financial, investment fund management and business competence through significant years of experience in one or more related fields
- Experience in preparing and overseeing budgets and assessing investment opportunities to support business development and economic growth.
- Solid relationship and interpersonal skills related to board of directors, employees, organization partners and the general public
- Bilingual (French and English) competency is highly desirable
