A new art gallery celebrating the natural beauty of Eastern Ontario is opening in Lennox & Addington County. Artist Leonard Carlyle Skinner will be unveiling his spectacular collection of artwork that depicts a variety of Eastern Ontario landscapes, as well as his collection of abstracts. His landscape oil paintings grace homes all around the world.
Residing in Bayfield on Lake Huron, Skinner grew up in the Ottawa area and lived Brockville for many years. With roots in Eastern Ontario, he jumped at the chance to move back to the region when a building became available for sale in Odessa.
After spending a year turning the former bakery property into a contemporary art gallery, he now is ready to open his doors to the public. Leonard Carlyle Skinner Art, located at 127 Main Street in Odessa, is hosting a grand opening celebration on Saturday, February 25 and Sunday, February 26 from 10 am - 4 pm. These will be his regular hours, but also welcomes private viewings.
