Tri-Association 13th Annual Manufacturing Conference Registration Opens

The organizing committee of the Tri-Association Manufacturing Conference (including the Northumberland Manufacturers' Association, the Kawartha Manufacturers’ Association, and the Quinte Manufacturers Association) is pleased to announce the online registration is now open at for the 13th Annual Conference, “Innovation in Manufacturing – Accelerating Change – Better, Faster, Smarter”. The conference will be held on Tuesday, October 24th at Peterborough Golf & Country Club, 1030 Armour Rd., Peterborough from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

“The annual Tri-Association Conference is a key part of helping manufacturers in Northumberland, Quinte, Kawartha and beyond connect to new ideas for managing, improving and growing their businesses” said Brad Robertson, Conference Chair. “Experts from both within and without the region bring new ways to use technology, look for export and marketing opportunities, engage and train their workforce and master better processing techniques. This year we are particularly excited to take this event to Peterborough for the first time.”

This year’s Keynote speakers include David Coletto, with a presentation on “How to Engage Millennials at Work: Understanding Where They Are Coming From and What It Means for Management”. David is one of Canada’s leading experts on generational change and the Millennial Generation and shares his insight from more than six years of research trying to understand where his own generation is coming from. Our another Keynote speaker will be Jocelyn Williams Bamford with a presentation on “The “Short Circuiting” of Canada’s Manufacturing/Business Sector.” Jocelyn is the founder of the Coalition of Concerned Manufacturers and Businesses of Ontario which was formed in September of 2016 in response to unfavorable legislation impacting businesses in Ontario.
