The three-day conference will be in collaboration with the Eastern Ontario Local Food conference and local hosts Just Food. The conference will include inspiring speakers, local tours, engaging panels, hands-on workshops, and action-planning sessions in addition to networking opportunities and a Feast of Local Flavours. Bring Food Home offers a forum to share experience and expertise, build the capacity and cohesiveness of Ontario’s local food network, and plan and coordinate actions that will direct us in building a better food system in Ontario and beyond.
Here’s why YOU should come:
- There is a new one-day rate of $75 for EOLFC participants. If you register for Friday October 27, use the code easternontario2017 for a savings of $100! (New conference funding makes this rate possible, previous registrants can be reimbursed for the difference.)
- There is a new student rate for the conference.
- There are socials and food tours available.
- There is no event in Ontario with a more comprehensive look at our food system. Discussions will take place across many topics - food justice, food social enterprises, school food, new farmers, farmland, food waste, and community gardening. Both newbies and veterans alike are truly welcome and wanted in these sessions.
